Spring has Sprung!

This weather lately has just been wonderful!!!  I have loved not having to bundle the baby up to take him outside the house!  However, with that realization also came the fact that I needed to go shopping for Maguire some spring/summer clothes!  I can always find a reason to shop!

Michael planted some tulips last year and they are so beautiful right now!  I'm hoping all this wind doesn't blow away all the petals.

Look at this cute little booger!  He looooves his activity mat!  Too bad he doesn't feel the same about tummy time:(

We've been taking some walks lately.  Maguire does not know what to think about the sun in his face!  We now have some hats for him and some sunglasses but both swallow his little face!!!

Just a little shot of Mag after his bath last night.  I just came to the realization the other night that he is growing out of his small little hooded towels:(  I also realized I don't have many bathtime pics!  That will soon change!!

I finally opened up my UH-Mazing Cuisinart food processor that my in-laws gave me for Christmas!  This thing is so awesome!  I don't know why I waited so long to get it out.  Frankly, it kinda scared me a bit with all the blades and stuff.  I have made several things in it so far---lots of diced up veggies for dishes, some guacamole and my personal favorite, homemade hummus!!!!  Even Michael liked my hummus better than the store-bought kind!  Thanks babe!!!

I'll end with this deliciousness I made for dinner the other night.  Some easy peasy chicken pesto pizza that I whipped up myself.

I took an already-made pizza crust, brushed it with about a tablespoon or so of olive oil, spread light Alfredo sauce on the crust, smeared on some dollops of pesto sauce from a jar (do you know the kind?  Classico Traditional Basil Pesto.  It's a staple in my fridge.  I always have the Sundried Tomato on-hand as well.), then covered the sauce with a generous amount of mozzarella/cheddar combo (you could use whatever cheese you have on hand), chopped up some onions (in my trusty food processor!!!), chopped up some thawed, pre-cooked grilled chicken breast strips and threw them all on and then sprinkled just a little more mozzarella on top.  I then baked it according to the crust package directions.  This was soooo good!  The last time I made it though, I chopped up quartered artichoke hearts and added that and it was even better.  I just didn't have any this time!!!  I'm getting hungry just thinking about it!!!

Hope you're all enjoying this spring weather as much as we are in our household!!!
