A Precious New Life

Oh how I love me some babies....and lucky for me, a new little one joined our family last night!  Michael's sister, Rebecca, and her husband, Jim, welcomed Maxson Reid (how cute is that?!) into their lives at 6:37 pm.  He weighed 6 lbs, 6 oz and was 20 inches long.  He is simply adorable and well worth the almost 3 hours of pushing that it took to get him here (cringing as I type that!)! 

There's just nothing quite like a mother's love...

Though a daddy's love is awfully special too....

Well, hello there, Precious!!

Our little guy was such a trooper the whole trip!  Only one poopie blowout in the carseat on the way home (see what you have to look forward to, Rebecca?!) and even that wasn't any big deal!  Other than that, he was awesome!!!

This is what I got to look at all the way home....who wouldn't be jealous!!!!!  He did a whole lot of staring, slobbing, and smiling the whole way there and back!!!!



Congratulations, Rebecca & Jim!  We can't wait to raise our little boys together!  We wish you all the best with your precious wee one!!!  Love you all much!!!
