Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day!
Becoming a mommy has been the most amazing thing that has ever happened to me!  I get to love and be loved by this most adorable, funny, sweet, loving little boy!  What a joy and privilege it is!

We spent the morning watching Michael's little sister, Ashley, graduate from KU!  We're very proud of her:)
Maguire wasn't in the best of moods though so we took off and headed home for a low-key afternoon and a LOOOONG nap!

Michael was so sweet and took care of supper, cleaning up the house and bathtime so I could spend the afternoon and evening doing simply nothing other than enjoying my baby boy!

He loves him some bubbles;)  That's for sure!

I sure am one LUCKY momma!!!!

Happy Spring!

Hello again!  Just wanted to take a minute to post some Spring photos we had taken of our sweet little boy!  The pictures were taken by my fabulous friend, Kendra, of KJane Designs and she did a great job!!  As far as pictures go, I of course tried to plan the session to the best of my ability!  I had to plan around Michael's birthday and of course wanted to make sure and plan around meals and naps so we would have our happy little guy show up for pictures!

Unfortunately, things didn't go as smoothely as I had planned!  Maguire stayed with Grammy and PaPa the night before so Michael and I could go out and celebate his birth.  I got a text from Mom early the next morning saying that Maguire had been up half the night coughing and playing!  Needless to say, when we got him, he was a hot mess and super cranky!  Oh and it just so happened to be windy and cold out:(

Even though the weather wasn't ideal and he wasn't feeling well, we still went for it and I was glad we did because we got some cute little shots of our handsome little guy!

You should have seen how sweet this little boy was!  Look at that precious little tear in his eye!  Made me just want to wrap him up, take him home and cuddle him all day long!  Don't worry, I totally did!!!

And of course I'm thrilled she took a pic of his little shoes!  I'm a sucker for pictures like this:)

And last but not least, my favorite picture of all....the one that looks like he's giving us a good-sized smile and shows off his fun little personality!

Happy Spring, everybody!

He is Risen Indeed!

I'm finally getting around to posting some Easter pics!  What a beautiful weekend it was for our family!!  The weather was great, we got to see Michael's family at a birthday party, and then we got to spend Easter day with some of my family!

We all slept in a little that morning so we were in a hurry getting ready for church so I don't have any pics of Maguire getting his Easter basket from the Easter bunny!  It was real precious though!  He was pretty excited!  The Easter bunny also brought him a basketball goal and he LOVES it!!  It's still just a smidge tall for him but he still loves to play!

We headed off to church as a family that morning to celebrate the resurrection of our Savior!  Then it was off to Grammy's for lunch and an Easter egg hunt!  Maguire was real excited to see his cousin, Mason!

This boy did not want to be tied down to take pictures!  He sure did love all his Easter surprises, though!

Seriously, could Mason be any cuter??

He was so ready to hunt eggs at this point but I insisted on a family picture!!!  I'm very glad I did!

After lunch, it was time to wrestle with the boys!

Some yummy cakes made by Grammy!!!

Then it was time for the Easter egg hunt!

Mason was a big help!

Finding the prized egg...

These silly boys!

Collecting prizes!

The boys got kites and monster trucks!  So of course they had to fly them!

There wasn't a lot of wind so the boys just had to make do and run around!

Maguire thought it was great!

Then they got smart and decided to take them out to an open field, which equaled success!!

We ended the day playing basketball and playing with trucks....and with an unfortunate sprained ankle for Michael:(  It's already much better though, thankfully!

Overall, it was a wonderful Easter weekend filled with family and celebration that Jesus is not dead, but he is alive inside of us and we will one day see Him come again!!!
